Why are there so few rear discharge F Kubota mowers around?

The General Public don't know what their missing with Rear Discharge Decks when they mow tall thick grass.
SD is ok when you mow weekly AND don't mind getting covered in dust and / or clippings :thumbdown:

I've mowed 7.5hrs yesterday & today around the farm in TALL THICK Grass with my ZD1211 72" RD & couldn't be happier with 48hrs on the hour meter

SD takes too long to process thick clippings & leaves windrows BAD imho

That’s a bunch of mowing. We did all our mowing today and it was like .75 hrs. Now we’re sitting around 5.7 hrs but love the machine.

I totally agree. The RD decks are wonderful!

Stopped by my local (35 miles away) Kubota Dealer to discuss their assertion, two weeks ago, that the ZD1511’s were put back to Engineering for DEF issues last Fall and that was reason that NO ZD1511’s were shipped since October 2017.

Dealer (owner) agreed to get an update from Kubota. I received a long string email, a couple of days later, from Dealer with numerous Kubota response refuting any issues with the ZD15111.

So ..... why did Kubota suspend shipments for over 6 months??

Their is a Kubota plant over in Gainesville, Ga I think.
They may be assembled there IDK.

Someone on here mentioned that the ZD1511 was plagued with the same issues as the B3350. Can’t confirm, but seems possible.

I'm So Glad I settled for the ZD1211 & steered clear of the Emission BS on ZD1511
