Tractor
2021 Kubota L3560 HSTC, 2011 Craftsman Excellerator GT (680hrs), 2018 Husqvarna TS354XD, 2017 Husqvarna HU800AWD, 2019 Kawasaki Mule Pro DX (Yanmar)
So, I will start with saying that before last year, I had no desire to own a "real" tractor. I had always been fine with my large retail store garden tractor, like my Craftsman (Husqvarna) 26HP GT. But something happened last summer and I started to fixate on buying a tractor and the things I could do with it.

So that was the start. I fixated, I studied, I visited dealers and sat on and test drove products, I came here and asked questions, then I asked again, then I fought against and for responses that I liked or didn't like. But then... I bought a tractor. A little sub compact unit. I loved it! It was great! For a few weeks I was amazed at what I was getting done. But soon I wanted more. More attachments and more ability.

So here is the horrible part. 4 months later I am selling the sub compact and getting a compact with more weight, more lifting power and more digging power. I went from $13,000 invested in the tractor to now going in at a tune of $30,000. I have purchased a back blade, tooth bar and box blade. But now... now I want a 3-point chipper, a grapple from EA and I am starting to look at building a large unattached garage. I want a newer chain saw. I want a dump trailer. I want... I want... I want!

So what started out as an itch has snowballed into what will likely be close to a $100,000 investment.

This is a dangerous game to play. So you got your warning here... Take it for what you paid for this. But trust me when I tell you that the more you do and the more you accomplish.... the more you will look at yourself and your machine and think "But, what I just had......" and then there goes the money!

Is there a meeting I can go to? Maybe I can get some help in dealing with this sickness?

This is like drinking in a bar and complaining to the crowd about alcoholism.

We have meetings here everyday that ends in "Y" but usually we talked each other into spending more money. Generally we got worse not better but atleast we have good company! Glad to hear you are enjoying the tractors though!

LOL. That's funny

I know exactly what you mean though. I am trying to figure out when my first tractor will be delivered and am already ordering additional attachments and getting the items needed for some modifications. It is a slippery slope for sure.

My salesman just sent me a picture of my b2650 that's being built this week. The picture shows the wrong rims and tires on it, these are the standard b2650 tires. I ordered the b3350 optional oversized R4 tires, so now they have to jack it back up and change the rims and tires to the ones I paid extra for. But at least it's getting somewhere! Supposably by the end of this week I will have it. 3092.jpeg

That's quite the weight bracket.
What is that on front?

Well come to the club! This is why when ever some one is talking tractor they are advised to go one size bigger(and hope that is enough).I started the craze in my family;we now have three Kubota's.

What's up with the front bumper??? Pinocchio telling a lie??? :D

When I saw my tractor at first, it had Ag tires on it... R4, now.

I bought 95% of my implements used and it cost less than half (which saved me some money). Installing my hydraulics saved me some coin... Saved money but spent a TON of time doing it all.

The thing sticking out of the front, that is a bracket that they install while the frame and engine are still down in the crate and they use it to Crane the chassis up into the air and then remove the crate and install tires to support the chassis. They just have not removed that bracket yet that they installed. When he sent me this picture earlier I about lost my s*** and called him! I asked the same thing, what in the world is sticking out of the front of the tractor, and is that nasty looking thing going to stay there? He laughed at me and explained that they have to get it out of the steel shipping crate somehow, so they built that too attached to the B series tractors to lift it with the crane.

You are selling your sub compact?
You will be sorry!

A BIG mistake!
Tractors are like guns!
More tractors are BETTER!
ONLY BUY....NEVER sell!

Besides: You can leave implements hooked up.
No need to change, if you have a dedicated tractor.
