Why do tractors not have a radiator overflow tank ?

Deutz, Air/oil cooled, 30 pto hp diesel farm tractor, and it's been a GREAT tractor...

As long as the area behind the fan is clear of nasty stuff of course.

Here is an example of a nasty surprise on a 1962 Italian crawler I restored.

WOW, that's REALLY bad!! Talk about years of lack of maintenance!!!

On my rotary cutter tractor, I use compressed air to blow out the cyls a couple times a year. One thing I DO like is, they don't get build up like a radiator always does…

Definitely took a while to clean all that crap out. I would never let any of my tractors go to this point. It was a nice project though.
