Why do tractors not have a radiator overflow tank ?

Thanks guys. It was indeed a nice project. This tractor sat outside under the weather for years and years with just a tarp over the engine. The water got into the gearbox through the shifter boots.

On that picture it was not finished yet. Actually, sold it before I finished. The hood was full of dents and in need of paint, so I couldn't take some final pictures with it all looking good.

Also, I didn't put the lights on and some other details. The air filter assembly was completely missing. Had to make one.

Before with some nasty looking gearbox and final drives:

Thanks guys!

Yes, it was a lot of work but I enjoy doing these things.

Had to make/machine all sorts of things. Mostly bronze bushings, new oil pain plug, new threaded rods for the track tensioners, new brake bands, welded a piece that was broken of the main cast iron gearbox, the list goes on and on.

Had a machine shop making a new gear for the PTO because the stock one was completely chewed. At the time I didn't have the resources to make it my self.
