By the way, I see alot of abreviations for 'sayings' in the threads but not famalier with alot of them. Is there a place that posts the meaning of each?

Ralph,

Someone (I think 3RRL?) posted a list awhile back. Do a search.

I purposely have seven projects going at a given time. If I finished everything I might get bounced out on my ear. There is safety in numbers and a want still creates a need. I also like learning from others mistakes. I made so many it is difficult to remember all of them.

I don't know if there is an index here or not. You might want to start a new thread with a list of abreviations that you've noticed and are not sure about. I know that I couldn't figure out DW for anything and had to ask what it was.

DW = Dear Wife.

The others in this thread are:

LOL: Laughing Out Loud
OT: Off-topic
AV: Avatar

The the other common conversational ones are:
FWIW: For What It's Worth
IM(H)O: In My (Honest) Opinion
YMMV: Your Mileage May Vary

Now, where it really gets tricky is the attachment abbreviations. However, in the spirit of this thread's topic, I'm withholding them...

OR DW= Dish Washer. No disrespect or pun intented. I am a builder, and when I see DW, I think of Dish Washer.

I see alot of abreviations on here That makes me stop and stratch my head.

If a guy is building a barn or shed, it doesn't matter to me if he finishes it or not or what it looks like. What I like is to hear what everyone else has to offer towards building it, or what the original poster is doing and why he's doing it.

Im holding you to that buster! :D since I just got the property I havent had time to start all 12 projects ;) though barn renovation is a priority for 2 years away max.

The many project syndrome tends to be a moderate part of open threads. another is finding that a special part... etc is needed and time is spent wating for other ppl.... life also tends to interupt. things like ice storms can put a project back months or more. some visible some invisible sources of good reasons abound here. plenty of oops... and lack of intrest also occor.

one suggestion for people. 1ce a year or on a rainy day etc search for all posts by your self. makes it easier to make sure you closed up all your threads.

The next person who chastises me for necroposting gets a mud pie  that is the only downside to checking up on things that and i find every dead post possible wo trying :D
