Why isn't anyone talking about the Deutz Fahr 5080d?

My 2024 model year 5080 Keystone has been a nightmare, they have already replaced pto clutch, 4 wd module, ac recharge. Now the steering drifts badly to the left when you put a 800lb round bale on the front end loader and transport on the road. In 7 miles it takes three complete turns of the steering wheel to keep it on the road. The shifter takes two hands to shift. Dealer has had it in the shop 3 times and it just hit 72 hours. I see why that guy got his for 30 k - 28 k under new price. Numerous tries to call PFG America - the US Distributor in Georgia - and they now refuse to talk with me, block my phone number. The regional service rep refuses to talk with you, hmmmm. Now I find out it is really a SAM tractor in green paint, it isn't made in Germany but in Turkey, doesn't have a Duetz engine but a FARmotion SAM engine - all their 5 series and smaller Deutz stickered tractors are made there - like 15-16 models. So now the dealer told me numerous times it was made in Germany and had a REAL Deutz engine - same thing the PFG America parts/ service tech me 4-5 times. Good luck to the guy with his, maybe there are some good ones out there ?

If the dealer is fixing it why call distributors and regional service reps? Most brands want customers talking to their dealer and will not talk to them directly. They will support the dealer if they need help.

SAME, Deutz, Lamborghini and Hurlimann are part of the same group, the SDF Group. All of these brands sell the same exact tractor with just a different paint color.

It's been 2 1/2 years since the original poster had to decide which tractor to get. I wonder what he chose and how it has worked out? Sounds like he had a lot of heavy work to do.

I was interested in these tractors until I looked close at one.
Made in India,
Another company sending lower quality to the US.
They are lacking in parts and service in this country too.

Unfortunately you can get a LEMON in anything you purchase..

Yanmar has been making diesel engines for years there are over 50 different tractors that use Yanmar diesel engines, there in boats, ships,
construction equipment, generators etc. Many many years ago some
of the farmers had the Deutz air cooled diesels and you would not get
them to trade period! They said they never had any problems they
were very dependable.

Fendt is A1 quality. Can be a little too "tech heavy," but still A1 quality.
