This system is specifically developed for the Kubota BX series tractor with the LA243 loader. The system is designed to allow you first the ability to have actual pallet forks not something you clamp to the bucket. And second you will be able to switch from your bucket to your forks and back again in seconds.

The pallets forks are designed for this tractor to be light weight to reduce the affect on lifting capacity, but durable enough to handle the abuse. The fork carriage is constructed of 1/4 A36 steel plate for strength and weight savings.

The forks are a fabricated design constructed of 3/16 A36 steel plate, are 36 long and rated for 250lbs each. The forks are the key to the weight savings on this because of the fabricated design they weigh only 30lbs each verses the formed solid type which weigh 80lbs each.

The other main component to the system is the quick-tach plate. It pins onto the loader in place of the bucket. Then you install the supplied replacement pins into the pin holes of the bucket and that's all you need to do. No cutting your bucket apart and welding new parts on or altering your tractor in any way. The Quick-tach plate is constructed of 3/16 A36 plate which is formed and welded to create a very solid channel. The capture hooks are cut and made from 3/8" A36 plate. All the bushings are machined to match the OEM hardware so no special tools are needed for the conversion.

Whatエs also unique about this system is if you doesn't need the ability to go from the bucket to the forks in seconds you can purchase just the pallet forks and they will fit directly onto the loader in place of the bucket.

To see a video of this system in action go to this link on YouTube. YouTube - Kubota BX series Versa-Daptor / Quick-tach system.

Pricing on the system is $999.95.
To buy the pallet forks separately it is $650.0 for the set.
To buy the quick-Tach separately it is $450.0 for the unit.

Hmm, no response's eh? Thought someone might be interested.

I'm thinking about the quick-tach setup. I've already got forks that I made for the buckets that go on real quick but I'd have to redesign them to use without a bucket now.

Bingo..I emailed them months ago and got the prices..Not cheap

You emailed ATI and got a price from them? Last I heard they stopped offering it for the BX.
How much was it?

Scarlo, I like your setup but the big difference between your setup (similar to JD's setup) is that there are two rams for curling the bucket. Because the BX series has only the one center mount HD cylinder, there is no way around a fairly beefy adapter plate.

I like the setup from AI2, but I think I am going to add change my curling setup to match yours (with two cylinders for the curl)

For someone who is not ready for such major changes to their machine, the AI2 setup seems a no brainer .....

I would think that by extending the bucket out that extra 6" would drastically cut down on the lift capacity. The lift capacity is only 500lbs and I would imagine almost everybody with a BX has easily maxed that out, but it is a good looking system. I like the first quickattach better, much cleaner setup, but much more work. It would be perfect if it was built to the specs of a mini skid steer then all sorts of attachments would be readily available.

I think the mini skid steer quick attach is the way to go. Look at the Toro Dingo and other walk behind skid steers. They have three cylindars and still have around 1000lb lifting capacity. The strength in the quick hitch can be done without adding lots of weight. Whenever I get the time and if possible a cheap mini skid steer attachment, I'm going to try to work this out. Hopefully it will come together.
