Not just motorcycles...bicyclists on the road are a high risk group. No way would I put my life in someone else's hands. Another one just died in my town this past week. Happens quite often.
That's intentional though; if they ride in the center or righthand side, people will take that lane like the bike isn't even there. Just before I sold my last bike years ago I found myself pushing off from somebody's door with my foot as they "merged" into my lane while I was there. Two weeks later and a few blocks away some censored pulled out of a parking lot, cutting me off. I kicked the rear tire out to skid around her rather than hitting her door; and stalled with my face just inches from the snowplow frame on front of her pickup. As I worked the bike back and forth to get it into neutral so that I could restart it she was sitting there swearing at me to get the **** out of her way.Who is at fault if motorcycle is riding the line and hits a car changing lanes. In my area we have bikes that will ride line at about 70mph. Scary as heck for car drivers
