Those are in great shape.

It looks to me, Sixdogs, that with the wider rims you will be giving up the "Ag type" rim. Those rims don't look to be able to adjust the center disk on the outer rim.

Personally, I'm not ready to buy them yet but posted for the legions that ar. It may not be an adjustable wheel but it certainly is an ag wheel, just with a fixed center. You really wouldn't adjust front wheels anyway. I believe these are made by Unverferth in Ohio and if that's the case those wheel centers are 1/2" plate and are super strong and super quality.

My Son's 7060 came with a similar wheel. The only adjustment is reversibility. Can't remember how much track width is gained. I'll hafta ask him.

For ag, you really only need the inside of the front tire to line up with the inside of the back. Occasionally the outside edge of the front will line up with the outside edge of the back. Both of those are for row crop. For just tillage and things it doesn't matter a whole lot. In decades I've only moved front wheels in or out a couple times and think I wound up moving them back. If these are Unverferth wheels they are built like a tank in quality and perfection.

No - those rims look as tough as a rhino. I just meant - if you are row cropping and need to adjust the width of the front wheels. The OEM rims on my M6040 are fully adjustable. I have the fronts set at one notch wider than neutral and the rears set out as far as possible.

Wonder what the rims would cost for your rear tires.

I've got those style of 20" rims on a M7040SU, new from the dealer, yes no adjustment, but you can dish out if needed. My rears are set inline with the front from new. No row crop work, but I pull a moldboard plow no issues.

You know, you don't have to put radials on the front. This isn't a car and you could save a bundle and accomplish nearly the same with radials on the rear and bias ply on the front. For the kind of work most of us do, it's no big deal. You could get the wider front wheels and put an equal size bias tire on. JD mixed radial and bias on 5000 series tractor a few years ago as a common event. I do it now.

This would work better when the cost of a wheel drops to the $135-$150 typical of other implement wheels.

I like the way your thinking Sixdogs! I want the wide front tires but don't want or need all new radial tires.

What size bias tire would be the equivalent to the 360/70R20 wide front tire which I could put on these rims and still allow me to run the factory 16.9-30 rears on my 7060?

I forget once but forgot so this is a guess. I think 12X20 or 12.5X20 was the size. You need to know the rolling circumference (listed with each tire size) of the 360/70R20 and find a size comparably close. BUT, you need to double check the numbers to make sure. For that you need the "front axle ratio" of the tractor and I have the M7040 written down somewhere. It's also all over this site in various places. The numbers are to make sure the front tire runs 2% to 5% faster than the back tires. It's not as difficult as it sounds and once one of us does it, the numbers are good forever. It might already be done and posted somewhere on the TBN.

For those buying radials, there are big differences in them. I'll bet you can buy one of those 360's mentioned from $425 to $850 for a top of the line Firestone. I put radials on everything I can because I drive over septic systems frequently and in the same day maybe pull a hefty chisel plow. A high dollar radial will seriously out-pull a low buck one. They both float about the same and any radial is much better than bias. For me, when wheel prices come down to that $150 area, bias front tires will work fine for me. That's what I think now but do love radials. I've done threads on them.

The easy way out is to buy the package from Miller Tire. I've done biz with them and they are a great company with great people.
