Way to go. I know you are proud of her, and you get more pleasure from her shot than your own. Did yall sit in the nice shooting house you built couple years back?
Very true!!! I don't get too excited over shooting anything, but waiting for her to take that shot, and worrying that it would take off before she squeezed the trigger was almost too much for me. She won't shoot until she is 100 percent perfect, and sometimes that takes longer then other times. She later told me that she was too excited to shoot, and had to work on her breathing to get the rifle steady. It was probably a minute, but it felt like five!!!!!
We're still using the deer blind. I've taken out the rubber mats on the floor because they bubbled up. I guess it gets too hot in there during summer. Now it's just plywood, and that's too noisy, so I'm looking for an area rug or some other type of rubber pad. Every time we move a chair, it seems like we're making this massive noise that will scare everything away.
