I'm considering switching from dial up to the Wild Blue satelite internet.
Do any of you use this? If so,any good or bad feed back would be greatly
apprecciated.. OOPS did a search and got alot of good info, is there anyone
in central Illinois on this ? THANKS

Another option for rual areas is wireless internet. If you have any large towers in your area there may be a wireless provider operating an ISP off of it. I recently signed up for this service in my area, they put a dish/radio on the roof and point it at the tower and run a cat5 cable into the home and I get about 2mb upload and 3-4mb down. Blows the DSL and cable in the area outta the water.
