Canada Goose makes for damm good eatin'. Just stab the skin repeatedly with a fork so the excess grease will drip out during cooking.

I don't think CTF wanted to eat 'em...just terrorize them.
He's lucky he (and his Kubota) didn't go home covered in Goose crap.

Too bad there wasn't a critter mounted cam so we could watch that crazy driver on the Kubota weaving around charging in like a mad bull.;)

Good job, but won't they just come right back?

I have 11 large white Embden geese that I keep for security purposes, they literally patrol the property and attack anything and everybody except me. As far I'm concerned they are better than dogs in some aspects.

Wow...I've never heard of "guard geese".

Yeah, just wanted to get rid of them. I don't even think you would be allowed to kill them where we live...:confused2:

I would not be too sure about the Kubota...:D

:laughing::laughing: If I had a critter cam, I would not post it...;)

Yeah, sooner or later they will come back, but the longer they are out of the yard, the less poop...

Geese make great guards they alert at any movement and will watch in the direction of whatever disturbs them. Had a male African rush a coyote so the mom and babies could make it to the pond. The wife got the coyote 3 days later with a 22. The geese alerted her to were he was slinking around

Down here we use Peacocks and Giunea hens for security purposes. They will keep the tics down as well.
I never tasted one but I'll bet a Peacock taste like turkey.
