Ask him.
He has changed his price on me a couple of times when I went to sign the paperwork. One time for $1000 and one time for $700. less than the agreed on price. Steve said he had gotten some money from Kubota after the deal was made. Once was because Kubota gave me Fleet price for some strange reason.:):D

Brady said he was going to be on a vacation for a few weeks. Once he gets in the blower and the tractor is ready I'll ask him.

Guys there is no uptick. If these brands don't back down on their price AND offer 0 interest they are going to go belly up. These tractors are not moving because the bulk of them are real cool toys...like a Harley...and in our area of the country you can buy any Harley for any price. You know things are tough when the Harleys are going at a major discount. And the CUTs are not hardly moving at all. The Kubota dealership went belly up. That is one reason I pulled back from buying a NH two weeks ago...the dealership/companies just aren't ready to bargain like I think they should. On the other hand my Massey dealer just flat out told me to wait till this week as he thought he could give me a heck of a better deal so I said okay...will see him Saturday. He is really trying to put together something and even offered to find a bank with a great rate as he feels these 0% interest deals so are just fiction as they acually just tack on several thousand dollars on the back end of the price. When I can get a great deal (discount) plus 0 % I will go for it. Mainly I just want these guys to realize everyone else is lowering the price of their goods so why not them. What is "reasonabe" and what is not all depends on the underlying economy...all else is fiction.
Where have you been or in what world do you live in? These ain't Harleys and don't compare to Harleys. The Kubota dealer in Somerset is selling Kubotas faster than he can get them in, assembled and delivered. Doubt you'll ever have a Tractor but keep waiting and keep believing.

Now this current uptick may not last forever but is is strong at this time due to baby boomers retiring to rural areas.

At 59 I am thinking about getting set equipment wise now but have to do it on a budget. In the last 8 months I have come up with a naked tractor, backhoe, F-700 flat bed dump, bush hog and box blade, an equipment trailer, utility trailer and a four tire wagon with a steel bed.

Five miles up the road the guy how lives 125 miles away in a city is planning to retire and come home to the family farm. He is putting a mint into steel and pole barn buildings with a complete shop, full restore with paint of two farm tractors and a large backhoe and a nice repainted dump truck' equipment trailer because he can afford it and wants it.

There are trillions being spent this way by retiring baby boomers across the US causing these areas of "upticks".

This is a mega rich country and some are spending it before their deaths at a fast clip.

L3710 cab here X 8 years. 80 tons of small bales a year. Major snow mover in our development (20-30acre plots). Built own house etc. Around 40 acres to mow and spray.

I grew up on and remain part of a 5,000 acre farm/Ranch. I am well aware of what these puppies can do.

My neighbors all have small CUTS.....and treat them like toys. Sometimes they even snow blow.

Yes people are retiring...but over the country these things are not moving...our area was hit way less by the recession. Read about the Bozeman Valley then talk to me about retirement and new rich.

Just sayin....keep drinkin the coolaid and pass one to Tim G. while you are at it...hehe.

Funny...the same questions were posted when I started visiting this forum. And there was a 0% offer in place when I purchased in March of 2006. And while there have been some brief breaks in the offer over the past 4+ years, it has generally been a dealership staple.

So it may, indeed, end on May 31. And it'll be replaced by new banners and another 0% offer on June 3.

Funny thing is that I financed 1/3 ($5,000) of my initial purchase through Kubota and DID NOT use the 0% offer. We run our own business and had just purchased a home, so my wife wanted to absolutely minimize our monthly obligation. At the time, you could only do the 0% for 3 years, I think, and there was something weird about the 'small print' that made the 0% more expensive for our situation...don't recall what it was. So we opted for a 2.9% deal over 4 or 5 years. Don't remember the particulars. We paid it off within a year.

Every question here recycles over and over, be it 0% "intrist", HST or Gear and of course synthetic oil vs dino.

Makes me wonder whats going on in Somerset Kentucky thats not happening elsewhere in the US. Dealers out West are struggling. Maybe it will hit you in a few years.... :D

Ham are you aware of the below?

The greatest intergenerational transfer of wealth in history will occur in this country over the next decade. An estimated $10 trillion is expected to change hands....

Second Generation Entrepreneurs in Family Business Face New Challenges :: Fairleigh Dickinson University

Ham we know there are pockets good and bad times but we also know $10 trillion is less than our national debt but still a lot of money. :D

No not all of it is going to be spent on CUT's but some will be. Take Google road trip through that part of the state and you will see there are no large cities in the region and many have a good amount of acreage to keep up.

population density of all u.s. states smallest to largest

Ham study this and you may see why your take on other parts of US may be off.

Well Gale...its okay to focus on me though you might notice some others agree...but I am used to taking the heat....lets get with it then and start changing hands:) Its not happening in Bozeman, or in Eastern Colorado, or Wyoming, or Massachusetts...the places I work and have family. But that leaves a lot of territory...like Kentucky...no wait..that isn't a territory but a state...anyway...I thinks things were a lot inflated and when the bubble burst you should see things come down in price and dealers dealing...so far...no go in my neighborhood despite the realities. Either you are a dealer, related to a dealer, or voted for Obama:)

I hope you are right and prices do come down. I don't get away from home too much so I can only speak for my part of the country, SE Missouri, but some dealers are expanding and have had to add shop people to assemble tractors for delivery. I got a little off my last used tractor, but not what I would like as I knew it would be sold in a day or two if I didn't buy it.

Like many, I no longer farm and cash rent all my land out, so I use my tractors for property maintenance and projects as I am retired. I live in farm country so I can understand how John Deere does so well, but Kubota, NH and MF are also doing well; beats me.

Sorry you do not feel good about your region but I can see how hard things could be with that few people per square mile.

It was a good thing you not playing baseball because you would be out after your last post. :D

With 10 trillion dollars changing hands it is just naturally some of it is being spent while they can still enjoy what cash can bring. It is hard to know how long this current uptick will continue.

If was a dealer I would be pushing them out the door and hope for service work if a down tick develops at some point in the future years.
