John, leak down, assuming no oil is leaking out anywhere, can be either the seals in the cylinders or it can be the valve. I have not noticed any leak down in my top link, but it seems the side tilt might leak down a little. That's another reason I have mine adjusted so it's level when the cylinder is completely retracted. Although I haven't gone to the trouble of finding out for sure if it's leaking down or if I've accidentally bumped that lever. I guess it would depend on how fast it's leaking down as to whether I'd go back to the dealer for correction.
