My situation is probably not unique, I am sitting on land that produces a good hay now, of course it can get better.

Development pressure is forcing grassland farmers out
Equine communities surround us
I spent thousands of dollars a year to feed my own
I don't shy away from hard
I cannot see spending money for something I have
I have time
We are tractor savvy
My neighbor does it for a living, but travels out of state for haying [/list]
Getting hay into my community is problematic the last few attempts by other neighbors has resulted in serious time delays. I can see this market growing, I can see myself playing a part in it.
Fuel prices, IMHO, will force significant change in this area and I am curious if others are worried.
