Will not start

Have a TN 65NH 2002 Parked in barn a week ago running great
Will not start have tried everything I know. Can anybody help

do the dash indicators come on even?

when atempting to crank any clicks or sounds?

what does a volt meter on the battery say when atempting to crank.

have you checked things like NS and pto and OP safety switches. I know the NS switches onthe twin stick models can get twithy sometimes.. etc.

post back the particulars.

ps.. any blown fuses.. there have been reports a while back about fuse and starting issues.

i was thinking same thing....neutral lockout issue or switch problem

are there any dash lights turning on?. have you checked the ground wire contact point

I've already posted this to one of your many crossposts of this.. but there is an exploded electrical and sub section diagram available at the NH parts site.

as for a start relay.. um.. you mean the one on the side of the starter?

Keep in mind that there are possible safety switches BETWEEN your key and that starter relay that will keep it from energizing. NS switch comes to mind.

have you tried setting in seat with a remote start button and bypassing bat to relay.

this is getting hard to follow.. please don't cross post any more.. I'm not even sure how many times I've replied to this same question or topic...

Hello paver. I would sugest that you put a jumper cable on the battery pos. post and touch the starter with the outher end. There should be two, large lugs on your starter relay, one will have the battery cable on it, the outher goes into the starter. Touch that one with the outher end of the jumper cable. That will let you know if it's the starter, or a safty swith. You can allso touch the small terminal, with a hot wire, and it should engage the starter. I'm not fimaler with your tractor, but you should have a safty, starter swith, in the seat, on the clutch, petal and one for the gear shift. Put a jumper wire in each switch, to get it, to turn over. then remove each jumper wire one at a time. When it no longer turns over that's the switch that's not working.

AND make sure you don't run yourself over doing this!!!!

clutch blocked and in neutral.. check 3 times!!!!
