Yep! GORGEOUS weekend! Seems like it is going to stick around for a bit. Last couple falls the heat and humidity didn't break until mid Oct. This Fall seems to be shaping up much better.
I知 glad you got a spring, we did not. One day does not make a season.
I致e lived everywhere and traveled to the places I have not lived, except Asia. No thanks.
When it痴 nice brother, it痴 nice. The pacific nw, imho, has the most perfect summers on the planet but, again, imho, the rest of the year is beyond miserable.
I知 just saying, things are changing, they always do.
I知 just whining about the changes.
Things in your part of the world going to brighten up soon, the leaves should start soon? Blue Ridge Parkway in the fall.
Last year Charlotte had twenty 90 degree days in September and the high temp for 2019 was recorded in October. September 2020 has been far different. Fall colors, even in the High Country are a ways off yet.
Rick are you near App State Univ. ?
Boone, NC is about 60 miles NNW of us and 2400 feet higher in elevation. The elevation makes a substantial difference in climate twixt here and there.
That could be a Covid 19 reaction. We had a wonderful spring this year that lasted much longer than normal so we're hoping for a fall encore! Right now it is absolutely perfect weather.
Our AVERAGE September rainfall is 3.5 inches. We got just about that in the last 2 days.Sept. use to be our dry month here in KY but no more. Last few years it has been rainy.
We are having some fine weather now. Some of the trees are starting to turn.
