We have a 14 x 32 metal building we're thinking bout moving from back yard to side yard. The tractor is a Mahindra 5570 70hp. The building has four 4 x 6 skids under it. Building is full of "stuff" such as tools and saddles. Wondering if I can drag it slowly with tractor? 0F5C3365-EC77-4D08-9912-8B7E44DD5A2B.jpeg

I moved a similar building on skids with a MF 135 once, it was a load for it.
I don't think you'll have any issues especially with some ballast in the FEL.

The tractor shouldnt be a issue but the strength of the building might. Adding extra weight to the floor and pulling at 1 point could damage the building. I see a tractor in the background that might help. Maybe add a pickup?

Good luck Pics too

Pulleys and cables can greatly increase the actual pulling force...it will basically come down to traction...

Yep it will move it

Can you put the tractor inside, support some with the FEL and support some with the 3pt using framework to trusses?

There is no doubt in my mind that the tractor will pull that building, especially if the tractor is ballasted. If the building is built strong enough and designed (chamfered skids) to be pulled. Might not hurt to spray some water in front of the skids to possibly reduce friction.

Don't pull with a V hook up. Put a spreader bar in, then do the V hookup.

It might be better in the long run though, if you took the time to empty out some of the heavier items first.

That seems like common sense.
