I was looking at Wilma's stats yesterday and she was still a TS. Then I get into work today and its a Cat 5 with record low pressure! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif My wife talked to my parents before I got home yesterday and they are already running away from the storm. If my count is right of the last five storms to hit Florida, two of them have gone over my parents house. So far with no damage. This will be the third if it moves as predicted.

I was wondering why my parents where leaving. I just figured they where being safe. The last I had read the storm was expected to have been a Cat 1 yesterday afternoon/evening. As a Cat 5 I'm glad my parents are leaving....

My mom and dad left NY monday for Ft Myers. I called them and they stopped in Tampa to hold up for now. I begged them to come back but they said their ok. I'm sure thats what they all say until it's too late. Stubborn people.

Great....Latest report is saying that it could still be sitting out in the gulf near Cuba on Sunday. Well...I'm going to Tn with or without her... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'm packin, boardin, and tyin down and then I'm gone!!! What's supposed to happen will and I'll deal with what's left.
