Hi All,

Distant family has offered me an older JD 72" snowblower and Farmi 4500 winch for a nominal price. I'm guessing the "4500" means Kg of pull, so it should fit somewhere between the current Farmi 351 (3500Kg on 20-40HP) and Farmi 501 (5000Kg on 40-60HP).

I think both of these are exceeding the 24 PTO HP my L3010 can supply. The manual doesn't address snowblower HP but does specify 60" width. Can any of you offer experience or opinion either way? Thanks for the help.

Unless you get loads and loads of wet snow you should be able to hand a 72" blower without any problem. I think mine is 72" on my 3010 and have no problems at all. (honestly I forget how big mine is, but I remember its wider than the 60" of the tractor).
The worse that would happen is that you'd have to creep the tractor a little slower.

I think you are pushing it with the 72" blower and your L3010. I have a 78" on my L3710 and it's been ideal. The L3710 manual says 66" is the max size for a blower, but it handles the 78" without a problem. If the price is right you could give it a try and sell if it's too big.
