While I do hit alot of the dealers.. the bulk of my tractor finds are rusting beside the road.. though i have picked up a few from the dealerships ( when i have to! )

Steam stuff kinda scares me!

We had a show here at our fairgrounds .. oh.. maybee 15-20 ys ago.. can't recall exactly.. had a steam engine blow up.. killed and woulded some people... I had been at the fiar that day.. looking at that engine..... hours later it popped!

Ditto on the danger of the steam systems.. I design or more like spec steam boilers and ancillary systems. In one accident I know during the start up when the condensate was traveling at 55 MPH in 12" dia sch 80 steam lines.. caused a 12" dia flanged elbow to bust with two techs in the tunnel. They died immediately...poor souls basically were cooked alive. RIP.

Steam does pack up a heavy punch...you got to work with steam slowly to bring the temp up and got to properly return the condensate ack to the boiler.
