Don't do that unless you like fixing flat tires. Roofing nails are the worst for flats, and the strain on them will pull them out in no time. Bolt some strap iron on with nylock nuts, and check the plywood for wear around the bolt holes. Esp with gravel surface, you'll get lots of wear.
