6+ inches of snow last night and -10oC this morning...supposed to drop to -15oC tonight

Who says they don't need a cab?

Ok that's enough winter, I'm ready for summer again! Keep warm

I like your way of thinking.

I have read that this is very early for you and we are getting devastating bushfires which normally don't happen until Feb/March.
July I was in Tasmania driving down the what should have been the fertile east coast, it was dead and dry.

Seems we're all in a bit of a shakeup. If Mother Nature is serious enough the human population will migrate and adjust. Just hope they all don't come here. :)

Or here.
We got 6-7" yesterday/last night/today, supposed to get in the single #s tonight and below 0 tomorrow night. Hate plowing these early storms...the ground's not frozen yet and you've gotta be careful not to dig up the driveway. I'll usually tilt the bucket back a few degrees and let it skim over the bottom couple inches. Builds up a good base once it freezes.

All this after a relatively warm October.

Yes, darn it!

And I think I blew more sand and gravel than snow.
Good news I did not sheer any pins.
But what a mess, ground was not frozen yet.

Southern Ontario, hour north west of Toronto. Like Oaktree said, our ground isnt frozen yet so keep the blower tilted back or you will be throwing a lot of gravel too. Too bad the leaf piles dont blow very well!

At -15oC this morning we are breaking some records. Environment Canada says the average low for this time of year is -1oC and our previous record low for yesterday was -6oC.

We got a few inches, I didn’t even bother with it. 13’ F when I left home today, the forecast is calling for 42’ on Friday. The first blast is always a shock but we get used to it, what I hate is the jumping back and forth between warm and cold. I will still take it over summer though, if temps never got above 60’ F I would be happy.

10-11 inches for a wide swath of southeast Michigan on Monday, and 4 degrees this morning; by far the earliest I've ever seen such harsh winter conditions. I decided to drive up and down my gravel driveway several times before plowing, since the ground is not even close to frozen up. This way the rear blade could ride the packed trail and kept most of the stone in place.

I'm not that bad, but 75-80 is hot enough for me. Garden's happier in the 80s though.

Lake froze over two nights ago and today it is 26* out no wind, yesterday it was windy and felt like the arctic outside.

Good point. I’ve always said that the only good things about summer are tomatoes, cucumbers, and corn. Aside from that, I would be quite happy living with the polar bears.
