Winter is HERE

Strange winter so far. This time last year I must have plowed 7-8 times in upstate NY. So far this year: 0. Can't even burn wood in my furnace yet cause it's too warm out and the house would be 75deg or better!! (Have a Dual fuel furnace that uses oil or wood)

winter was here in southern NH 8 inches of white sunday and today it is 47 at 5:00 pm and all the snow has melted.

Yeah, but last winter at this time, those of us who live in the mountain west were growing bananas outside for most of the winter. It's kinda nice to see some normal winter weather at last.

Yesterday morning it was 45 degrees around 5am,little 24 hours later 2" of snow w/freezing rain and I'm not complaining yet..after last winter normal snow season according to the weather man./w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif
I do enjoy the five season{mud being the fifth season}maybe its my age or to much coffee I drink..anyways I'm thankful for what I have.

Thomas, we've had some amount of rain on 8 of the first 16 days of December; all small amounts of less than a half inch until yesterday. Yesterday we had very light rain all day, quit about 6 p.m. and we had gotten about .85". Then it started again after dark and rained all night; five and a third inches by 7:15 this morning. That's the most rain I've had in one day in the 7 years I've lived here! The temperature was in the low 40s yesterday and came up during the night; 54 now. Strange weather indeed.

Well the weather station batting 1.000% so far as calling the weather for this area,/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gifand I'm keeping track./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
Just finish plowing 3"of snow,and during the coarse of the night freezing which made about 1"of crust...kinda fun plowing.
I wonder if the person in the picture had it in 4WD..got to use more common sence in those 4WD,for just because one has 4WD it doesn't me one one stop able..like the pictures Dereck post last winter.
Hope clean up was a smooth one for you and not to much lawn damage.
