I had issues starting the generator last winter, choke system. So I just did yearly maintainance, glad I did. Battery posts still made connection, but they were super corroded. Battery terminal broke just taking bolt off. Ordered a OEM battery which served us well, and was $48 compared to locals $115+. replaced positive cable due to corrosion, but cleaned and left it attached as a jumper. Battery is a major PIA to take out and/or put a charger on it. (I do have a built in trickle charger, but only works if plugged in. Winter not the time to discover)
Snowblower gets serviced closer to snow time. will start moving firewood onto patio under deck sometime in late Sept to Oct. I have removable doors to close in patio that will get hung in October or after leaves change and fall. Will winterize all power equipment once I'm done using for year and store. Not sure I can cut firewood anymore, Have plenty for this season and a bit more. Nothing cut down for next year though.
