Winter Projects 2016-2017

Thought I would start a thread on things we are all working on this winter - I am taking 2 brush hogs and making one. Frame from one, gear box from one, stump jumper from one

Nothing on tractors or equipment at the moment, but will be working on the Grandson's motorcycle. 1986 Honda Nighthawk needs a carb rebuild and sync, the brakes gone through and a leaky cam cover gasket replaced.

Looking it at, it's gonna take most of a day just to get the carbs off...

Remodeling our cabin, new kitchen and baths. Starting Monday.

Working on finishing our basement. This will be the 3rd winter I've worked on it for crying out loud. Limited skills, funds and brains are creating some issues, ok, a lot of issues. But, I'm close as I'm down to hanging Sheetrock.

Keep the sheetrock 2" off the floor (water) - your baseboard will cover it.:thumbsup:

Thanks. I have it off the floor 1 1/2" for the most part.

I have a list of projects that I've started, so finishing just one of them would be an achievement. Siding my house, building a back porch and a new back porch. Finishing chicken coop number three. Finishing gazebo number one. Finish clearing my fence line. Removing two massive oak trees with three foot thick trunks that feel across where my fence is going to be.

Fortunately, I should be done with a quick and easy greenhouse lean to project tomorrow.

I'm setting up a new SWT Skandic for work right now. That's a work snowmobile. Also building, or at least sealing up since I'm confident I'll not get it more done before serious snow arrives, a 14 x 20 skid shed. What else???

Starting to get the Brush Hog put together - tested it today - now on to paint
