The weatherman got it wrong. We were supposed to get 1/2 to 1" of snow. We were over 4" then the wind started gusting up to 40 mph and it it still snowing. Practically the whole county is shut down due to the winds limiting visibility and drifting. They shut down I-70 due to a massive pile up and there have been some fatalities. My daughter is an EMS and she worked one of the fatal accidents. All schools and area colleges are closed and the State Police and county Sheriffs are telling everyone to stay home and not get out on the road. This started out as rain with temps in the 40's then the front came through and the temperature dropped into the low 20's and the rain switched to snow. Everything under the snow is ice so it is very hazardous out there. Looks like this storm is heading East so break out your snow suits.
