There is no shortage of oil, and there is no reason for people to say that we're running out. This empty cry has been going on for 40 years, and we know of more oil today then we knew of back then.

I have read that too, Eddie: Geologists have located more volumes of oil, than we knew existed at the time of the oil crises.

Because you guys pay about half of what we pay, i assume there isnt as much tax on fuels as in Europe: But still, the government, and the oil producing companies and countries get rich, while the pump owner in the street, is struggling to survive.

i agree with you 100%

p.s. Al Gore is making political profit out of the doomthinking most people are sensitive to...

Are we really able to save the planet ?
Only 3% of the worldwide Co2 emission is caused by human activity, the rest is all natural !!!
Off course my opinion is politically incorrect, and they will call me a heretic !!! :D
But i dont fear their Spanish inquisition !!! ;)

Where is Michael Moore now, to make a documentary about this ??
OOOoow, is Michael moore NOT a neutral journalist ? ..but just pursueing to uncover a (the) truth that supports his political point of view!!! :D

There's a good article on World Net Daily today. Its about one of the members of Congress of the majority party admitting that the intention is to keep fuel prices high to force us off petroleum. That old slogan "follow me" and the picture of the Infantry officer at Fort Benning leading the way does not apply to our esteemed political class. They will not sacrifice personally but will lecture us to no end. I am not touting the minority party either--it has been instrumental in killing the dollar.

There will be a solution to all of this but only if the political class of parasites finds something else to keep busy--maybe supervising drug testing in the NFL or such--and stays out of the market.

With respect to the carbon hating greens, you gotta figure that if they hate cooking on the old bbq grill, you know they don't care for all of us tractor nuts out every chance we get mowing, moving dirt, rocks and everything we can think of to get seat time. High fuel prices suits them just fine also.
