Won't turn over

I used my T1520 today (hst). I shut it off, tried to start it right after shutting it off and nothing. The dash lights come on, but no sounds coming from the starter - kinda like if I tried to start it in gear, just nothing.
Also, when using it earlier I noticed the PTO light on the dash was on. I looked and the shaft was not spinning. I engaged the PTO lever and the PTO spun; disengaged and the shaft stopped but the dash light remained on.
I don't know if the PTO light and it not starting are connected. Any suggestions on where to start first?
Oh, if I leave the ignition on and get off the seat it beeps, so it likely isn't the seat kill switch.

Take a look under the left side operators platform for a pair of wires going into the tranny. My 33D has two wire under there that sense PTO position and when disconnected indicate the PTO is engaged. I put some wire loom around them and haven't had any brush pull them free since.

Do a search for "#2 fuse", lots to read. Not sure which fuse for a T1520, but you'll get the idea.

wasn't a fuse. there was a wire underneath that was unplugged. don't know how it happened, unless it was my stinkin' chickens - they like messing around under the tractor.
