I go back and forth on the 3 pt hitch/PTO driven wood chippers, VS the pull behind wood chippers ... I have a sub contract tractor, so my best power option for the 3-5 inch chipper capacity is the pull behind.
I could probably get by with the smaller PTO options, but I think the capacity would be too limited for my satisfaction.
So far i'm giving a serious look at a Wallenstein model chipper.
Woodmaxx and Woodland Mills had some others that caught my attention earlier.
