Woods BB72 blades "stuck"

There is a Woods Brushbull 72 for sale locally. It looks in pretty good shape, has been used but not too bad. Only problem I see is that the blades are "stuck" to their housing. Is this a common problem, easy fix? He had sprayed wd40 or similar on it when I looked at it last week. It was still for sale earlier today. He is asking $600, sound decent depending on the blade situation?

Do you mean the blades won't pivot on the mounting bolts? I've had that problem when my cutter sat up for awhile; in my case they broke free as soon as i started cutting. Worst case scenario you can undo the bolts (you WILL need an impact wrench), drop the blades and then reinstall them.

That's a very good price if the mower doesn't have any other issues.

Thanks, I looked at it again today and the blades broke loose with a little effort by hand so I think it is fine.

As mentioned, they will probably free up the first time you run it. I had the same thing happen and they freed up by running. If you have to remove them use never sieze when reinstalling.
