Does anyone have a Woods loader on their Kubota? I am buying a L2600 and they want to put a Woods FEL on it as opposed to the Kubota FEL. I have seen the Woods FEL and it appears just as rugged as the Kubota. I haven't seen any specs though. Its about a $800 price difference.

I don't have a FEL period so maybe I shouldn't respond. This has been discussed before on different model Kubotas on whether to get the Kubota or Woods FEL with no concrete answer. Some say Woods makes some of Kubotas BH's and loaders? I've seen the Woods on some new Kubota but it doesn't look as factory looking on installation as Kubotas. This is just my observation. If the dealer had the Woods in stock for an $800 savings, it will do the job just fine. Others will tell you to get the Kubota FEL period. I know if you were getting a Grand L series, the Kubotas FEL are rated higher. Good luck.

I have a 3410 Kubota HST with a Woods 1016 FEL. When I was looking around to buy a tractor the Kubota 723 FEL was what I intended to get. However, that particular FEL, if my memory serves me well, would not go with the 3410 but would go with the 3430. I could have had the Kubota 513 (?) loader. But because I got a great deal with the 3410, and because I wanted a bigger loader, I went with the 3410 and the Woods 1016. I THINK the dealer told me that Woods manufactured Kubota's FELs to their specs and that the Woods, other than not looking quite as integrated, was every bit as good. I can't say if the dealer was correct in all of this, or if I remember all of this correctly, but I am very happy with the FEL. Oh. and one other feature, the Woods FEL came with Quick Attach, while with the Kubota FEL which would have fit my 3410 it was a $300 dollar bump to have it added. (monkeybreath)

Whenever someone ask the question about what FEL to purchase the following thread comes to mind.

I have a Kubota FEL on my B2910. It works very well. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

A Woods may work very well on the L2600. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just make sure your dealer will make it right if there is a problem. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I have Woods 1006 on my B7500. Zero complaints.

I have a Woods 1016 loader on my L3130. Works, looks great. It speced better that the Bota loader and was less expensive. Same for my 9000 hoe.

Don't think these will fit on your tractor so you'll have to compare apples to apples. Suffice it to say Woods make good equipment.

Thanks for the link. I also appreciate all the other responses. All good input. The dealer says they stand behind these loaders completely. I have heard many good things about their service from other local owners. Its too bad its not as easy a decision as it sounds.

Your dealer wouldn’t be Zimmer in Brookville would it? I’m getting a B2400 from them and they are putting a Woods 1006 loader on it. It specks out about the same as a LA302.
