Woods finishing mower gearbox

Does anyone know of an aftermarket gearbox that might fit on a Woods rd8400 machine? Buying a woods replacement gearbox will force me to mortgage farm........

Best is to determine gear ratio, horsepower rating and spin direction and find one that is a decent match.

If you have the OEM part number for the gearbox, do a search on Google. If there is an aftermarket gearbox out there it's usually in the part description, that part number will show it as being a direct replacement. I did this using the P/N for a King Cutter finish mower and many showed up for less than $300.00.
