this is a brand new valve that's why i don't understand why it don't work properly

If you are going to take it apart, watch out for the springs and balls.

Are you pushing the lever hard enough to push it past the detent?

i will check that out maybe that's the problem,didn't know you had to push hard

What was the outcome on the splitter valve? Did it ever go into detent on the return stroke?

i want to thank you for remembering me but today was one of those days never got to check it out.we are putting new corrugate siding on the pole barn. i will post reply and let you know if it works,thanks again

Are you sure you have the hoses on the correct ports of the valve? P,T,A & B?

I TOOK OFF THE ACORN NUT AND RESET THE THE DETENT SPRING,AND IT DID THE TRICK I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP.
