I typed my last post while on "lunch break" using my phone at the farm. Had been on the Ford all morning mowing roadbanks. I'm typing this having just got home from the farm after spending the afternoon loading dirt with the Kubota FEL into the Kubota RTV and hauling it 1/2 mile to a culvert location for fill. Not counting the slight sidetrack of going to town for diesel fuel which took 30 minutes.

What did you do today?

I was reading yesterday's Notre Dame student newspaper and they were asking kids who they wanted to win the world series this year.

A couple said "Cubs".
A couple said "Cleveland".
One said "Anyone but Chicago".
And one said "Chicago, because Cleveland doesn't deserve two of anything!"

Cubs are young with some great older leaders.....There big bats arnt ready for prime time...They remind me of KC 2 years ago......Tonight will be great, and biggest game yet.....Cleveland has there stud on the mound if they go up, Cubs have a huge hole to fill....

I gotta say this election is way more interesting than the series. There is something new and crazy every day. I heard one of the talking heads on TV compare it to a crazy, bizarre Hollywood movie and he was right. You just couldn't make this crazy stuff up.

We can only blame ourselves and our collective apathy that lead us to this mess. There is a saying that people always get the government they deserve. Not that all of us individually deserve this but collectively I'm afraid we do.

Well, buy it or not we're here aren't we? Up to this point we've had a free country and free elections so who's fault could it be if not our own? It's like blaming a con artist for taking advantage of greed and dishonesty. If people weren't so greedy and dishonest they wouldn't be so easy to taken in, conned and scammed.

I completely blame this fiasco on Corporate media!!!! All news comes from one of 6 places....Thats it....They play, manipulate everything!

Im sick of the of all this miss truths and flat out lies and no one has the ballz to call them out.....As long as the one percent controls the media......The lemmings will follow.....

Remember more people vote for American Idol that the presidency.... That should answer why were in the mess like this!

I'll quote JFK "Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You, Ask What You Can Do For Your Country". When that is our societies motto things will correct themselves. Right now we have more hands sticking out palm up looking for a handout than we do hands raised volunteering to help.
