BEAUTIFUL !! .....I love the mirrors and great lights,(looks like chrome-plated conduit?)..real nice job,...and er, ah,..I think the leopard skin marine-insulation headliner looks great,...probably cuts down the rattle factor too huh? What are the black "tubes" up in the front corners? Ah yes, just went back and examined the pics a little closer,...they appear to be the fans. WOW they should keep you comfortably cool in the heat! I have to tell you man,..I love your really nice workmanship!!

BIG PROBLEM I just noticed: You will have to find a nice big shade tree just outta sight of the boss,...where you can take the necessary time to carefully polish and shine all aspects of this "Beauty",... and that could take days,..better pack a lunch !!

Keep it going, . . don't forget your fire extinguisher and a small first-aid kit and most important of all, . ....a suitable drink holder for your favourite beverage!

Have you mounted the light switches or are they going up in the overhead Control Panel with other items where the weather can't get 'em so easily? That is where I'd mount your radio and/or CD player and your "ship-to-shore" or the ("Tractor-to-house" communications),...unless of course you prefer not to be disturbed while at work? I personally prefer the on/OFF switch unless I have a specific request for the shore. ....But hey, . . real NICE work!!!

Thankx Tug for all the kind and encouraging words. The chrome plated conduit is part of the pigtail on the light fixture itself. One problem with these "long range" lights is they only light up directly in front of you with a narrow beam; they don't do much for your peripheral line of sight such as to keep you out of a ditch on a dark night. So I got some xenon fog lights to take care of that problem; hope to mount them this weekend.
Those "black tubes" in front, yes they are fans. Don't overlook those "black tubes" in the rear also- total of 4- switched in pairs- fronts on one and rears on another. No there is no overhead console, switches are dahboard mounted. It would be a major ordeal to run more wires up the poles to the top due to the fact that the poles telescope.
Not many shade trees around here, but not to worry, I am the boss- actually I'm self employed. That is a good idea about the fire extinguisher and 1st aid kit, drink holder already there from the factory. Not much of a radio person, wouldn't be too practical on an open tractor- too noisy anyhow. Over and out.

Gotcha, . . and yes I see the problems with more wire up the telescopes. I still think you've done a beautiful job thus far and all further customization to your personal comfort will be great I'm sure. Keep us posted (with comments and photos) as you go with this project of interest to many of us.

Thanks for sharing thus far.
