Ok, I dont know whether it was the cat or my brother that measured the legs but the only thing this is good for is as a prop in Lord of the Rings. I couldnt believe it when we finally turned it over and it was over a foot too high. We added wheels which made a difference but the table would have been too high anyway
You will be able to do some heavy duty hammering on that table!
I would add a lower brace from the rear legs to the front.:)

We added some extra bracing and painted the legs. We left the table top so that we could weld on it and clamp onto the legs. we left on portion of a leg clean too to clamp onto

I cut out some corners so that the table would fit nicely into the corner of the shed. I also hope to bolt the table to the upright as there is a slight rock in the castor wheels.

That looks good, but it ain't the heaviest. Mine is 4' X 10' with 1/2" top, 4" pipe legs and a band of 8" channel all the way around and across the center. I wish I had the casters on it like yours, I have to drag mine with the tractor if I want to move it any. Later, Nat

I also have two vices now to spare.

What would be your suggestions as to the positioning of them.?

Also what additional features would you add to the table?

The table is 4' wide and its difficult to reach the far side of the bench. Would it be a good idea to cut out a curve in the front side of it.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated as I would like to enhance it to be as functional as possible...

Thanks guys

Do you think it still needs more bracing? I dont want it to fall on someones legs so i'll add more if its needed

Nice table but take those casters a heave them before some one gets hurt. Get instead some that have steel wheels. Thats the way the one at where I once worked is setup.

Castors were only so that we could move the table into the corner. the are rated for 200kg each and the table weighs 470 so they should hold up. we are going to fix the table solid into the corner permanently . wheels are just to avoid having to drag the table with a tractor if it needs moved
