OK, I have an 8050, you say you are buying new, check the build date on a 8050 I know that branson still listed it on their website the last time I looked however I think that you will find that 2015 or 2016 was the last year built and brought into this country. Branson says that there is no service manual available for this tractor. It has been a decent tractor for me, it has had a few issues, my dealer has been decent.
If you go to the Branson forum I have posted a few times about issues with mine.
When I bought mine I compared the 7845 and the 8050, the 7845 was a 1000 pounds lighter with the same engine, the 7845 has more transmission gears and 3 speeds for the pto and weights a lot less the castings on the 8050 are much beefier and the front axle has a planetary reduction which I prefer to the spur and bevel on the others.
The 8050 loader is self leveling which has it plus's and minus's. The "clutch" on the 8050 and I am pretty sure on the 7845 is not a dry clutch, they have multi disk wet clutches one pack for forward and another set for reverse, the tractor does not need to have the clutch pedal used to move, you can just move the shuttle to forward or reverse and the tractor will modulate the clutch pack for you, that is what the power shuttle does. It can be jerky and hard to modulate trying to back up to hookup to the drawbar or 3 pt. also attaching to the loader ssqa as it is difficult to gently ease it an inch or two. The 8050 comes with the euro style hook lift arms which is a type of quick hitch for the lift arms, it handy.
The rear remotes do not have a float position, one does have detents for continuous operations. The cab is decent sized, I have bounced my head off the ceiling a couple of times.

That's exactly the kind of stuff I am looking for. I'll ask about the 8050 but the dealer said he would have to order it. He said his father had bought one and was happy with it. With that being said I found only one on a lot anywhere and it said it was a 2017. I also saw a post that sort of lead you to believe it might be last one. LouNY, Does your's have the cooler/fridge? I also saw an ad for an older one for sale that had a buddy seat. Not sure if that was an option or something he added himself.

Yes,it has the little cooler it's handy butdoes take quite a while to cool its self down.
I wish it had the buddy seat or as many manuals call the instructors seat, the cab is kind of small for one.
One good thing with the tractors imported earlier is that the 8050 would not have a DPF, not sure about the 7845.
I have had to change the detent springs in the loader control valve for the detent and to get the loader into float.
My dealer actually provided me a new valve because I couldn't get the loader into float, which I installed rather then have it out of commission for 3-4 days between hauling it in working on it and returning it plus having to pay for the trucking.
I would verify the warrenty start and end dates.

Have you ever had a Korean beer :confused2:
I'll stick to my Colorado Koolaid (Coors)
Yes, it came with a cooler but it was empty :drink:

I've always that feeling that a dealer could actually offer something with quality since we leave so much money there.

But I yes, I prefer my Portuguese made Sagres and Superbock beers. :drink:

I Bought the 6530 new in 2007 because I liked the amenities as compared to all the popular colors available at the time in that hp range. I am 6'5 and for awhile was at 250# but the cab was very convenient for me, operating and very easy to enter and exit...the tilting/telescoping steering wheel helped and the air seat was comfortable.

I had a minor problem when I first got it...appears the air seat was wired into the AC fuse and when the AC was on and you ran the seat compressor it would blow the fuse.....simple rewire on my part fixed that....seems it didn't come from the factory with the air seat nor the wiring to service it even though the seat wore the Branson logo on the seat back.

The other initial problem was the AC idler pulley bearing seized. Kukje (Branson) realized that the load on the bearing was excessive and by the time I had my problem they had a retro fit kit out which solved it. I contacted Buster and he sent me a full updated kit, including new ac drive belt (which was the same as my original so I saved it) in a matter of days, no questions asked, in warranty.

Lotta years later I was plowing some really hard clay, had it initially plowed and was in a hurry. I had the loader full of gravel as the plow was 3 pt and very heavy. In bouncing up and down (more like banging up and down...extremely uncomfortable for me) with that load, I tore up my front axle bearings, both sides.

Buster Jenkins and the folks at the Plainview, TX. facility had all the parts I needed to fix the problem myself and I had them in just a few days, very reasonable price considering what I needed.

I hay with a drum mower and on 2 occasions I broke glass on the right side of it...door (I had in 3 days from Plainview), and right rear within a week as it came through a local dealer, not direct. I have since added extra shields to the mower to prevent that from happening again.

That's it for repairs. Fuel is .046 gal/hp actually being used/hr. Works out to just under 3 gal/hr at full load, AC on my heaviest plow. Still running OEM tires. Engine is the Cummins B 3.3 NA built under license by Komatsu heavy equipment of Japan.....

Kukje apparently qualified for the Cummins engine building license as my 2400 has the Cummins A1100N and it's built by them in in Korea.

Can't say about other units like ones you posted. Sales and service are primarily dealer oriented functions as the main facility in Rome, Ga. doesn't deal with the general public. Their Plainview Tx. site does and if you don't have a dealer to support you Buster and his crew will. Buster is the field tech/rep/service/knowledgeable guy.

I liked it so when I wanted a little "chore" tractor around the place I didn't even shop. Went to a local dealer and (had to wait 3 days as he was sold out and a new shipment was coming in) and bought the 2400 with zero amenities other than standard equipment 4wd, loader, manual tranny, Cummins engine.

I verified they are producing now. Three rolled off Rome Ga line last week and one is on its way to me.

A little concerned about the 8050 popularity vs the 7845c. But the price diffence was $3000. Loader lifts twice as much and rear end is much beefier. I will be moving logs for sawmilling from time to time so I could not pass it up. My dealer says his father bought one less than a year ago and loves it.

I will keep everyone posted.

So are you getting the 8050, and they are still bringing them in?
Does it have a DPF?
Is it a full tier 4 emission?
If it's an 8050 have you asked your dealer about a service manual?
Thanks Lou

Yes, It's due here in 7 to 10 days. I'm told they are assembled in Rome Ga. and mine is one of 3 produced/or finished last week. I talked to about 7 dealers around here and 3 have sold one in the last 6 months.

They do not have DPF. I'm told they are just paying the fine. There allowed to do that until they sell their first one with it, then the fine is no longer an option. For the slowing moving tractors, i guess it cheaper to pay the fine than to do a new line to produce the new engines. Mihandra also does not have the DPF on their larger tractors. In any case I'm ok with it not having it. I bought new SVL75 track loader they year they changed. Many dealers had both on the lot and I bought the one without the DPF and I've never regretted it. I've talked to others who have had issues. Maybe just because anything new has issues the first couple of years until they get the kinks worked out.

I will ask about the service manual. I'm hoping I don't need one. I have two kubota's, the oldest about 15 years old and I've never had them in for service other than routine. I change fluid's etc. but I take it in for the hours that need things like value checking, toe-in, and play in brakes and clutch. etc. With that being said there is a Branson dealer in my town but I did not buy from him because he is more of a lawn mower operation and only has the smaller tractors on his lot. So I brought from a larger dealer about an hour away. So since thats a little more inconvenient I might be in need of one to start doing more myself.

From my web research it does seem as if Service Manuals are a problem on anything but their faster moving tractors. Not sure if they just don't want to sell them to non-dealers or if they don't exists.
