Would like info on Branson Tractors

Sorry for the temporary absence, I've been traveling for the last few days. I did speak directly with a rep in Rome Ga and I am sad to say there is no service manual for the 8050 and there is not going to be, at least not for the current model(s). I was told that both the 7845C and the 8050 will have DEF next year and there will be a service manual for it. Not sure how much overlap there will be or how much use it might be for those with the current 8050's. As for any other changes to the two models there was no more information on that.

I believe the cutoff for non def is at the 75HP rating

That has been my question also, what I have been told is that if a DEALER has an issue with one they will communicate with them at that time, so an individual is going to have a tough time getting any info, especially since Branson and now I'll add Kukje don't bother to respond to owners with questions,
I am not sure how I will handle any complicated repairs such as the 3 pt issue being worked on in the Branson forum.
Seeing as how it's been almost 10 days from when I sent them this email.

Using the Kukje link I just sent the following email to Steve Lee and Jieun Park,
we will see if In get any response from them as Branson USA does not respond.

I purchased a Branson 8050. I am mostly satisfied with my purchase, I have had some issues with it.
I have been informed by my dealer that no service manual is available for this tractor, I find this hard to believe, I need the part number and pricing for a 8050 service manual.
Also, is the software package to communicate with the shuttle clutch programing available? and what is the pricing?
This tractor has not been a reliable starter in cold weather, is a heavier duty starter available ?
I see that the K series has a 2.7 KW starter? does that starter fit the 8050 which has a 2.2 KW starter?

And the worst part is it's been a good tractor and I like it, but how can a person recommend a manufacture with that kind of issues and lack of response?

Many companies that make products sold at retail though dealers do not communicate directly with customers. Having been on that side I can understand why, but as a consumer I'd like to see them work with customers especially in situations like this.

Have you tried calling or emailing Dave's Tractor? They're a long time Branson dealer (and where I got mine) and they are often willing to help. Of course if Branson isn't making a manual or making the software available they won't be able to get it. Also Big Red's online parts lookup llsts an 8050 AC00269. I don't know if that's yours but if it is that might be some help. (Branson Tractor Parts | TYM Parts Dealers).
