My brush hog is 5', my tires are about 6' to the outside, sure it mashes the grass down, but on the hills I have, I'll take the added side-hill stability over a narrow wheel track any day.

Mowers work best wider than wheel tracks. they will make the flattened grass stand up and some will be cut.

Any way to practically offset the mower slightly when I hook up and mow one way??and does any one have any pics of added wings on their snow blower?

I have my tires set as wide as possible because of our hilly terrain, so my rotary cutter does not cover the wheel tracks like you report. I pull the cutter to one side by adjusting the sway links to the max. The result is the cutter covers the tire track on one side, so I drive so that side is in the uncut area. The only time that tire runs in uncut grass is the first pass.

Having the blower a little narrow than the tires is not a big deal. In your case only 1/2" per side.
Mine was about 4" per side and I found the tires got a better bite in the unblown snow.
You can always add a small wing if you find you really need it.
Just be certain the blower and particularly the gear box is rated for the horsepower you have.

Your Provonost is 54" so with a 53" wheel width that's fine - you can add wings if you decide you need to later. For the mower you can offset the 3PT by maybe 3" to cover one wheel track for the short term. I agree a larger brush hog would be best.

If I were you since there are only a few weeks of grass cutting left this year, keep the 4' unit this year and next year sell it and buy a larger one - its harder to sell in the fall I would imagine.

IT seems all your other implements will work with the B3350 you are getting? Was the price of $25K for the B3350/B77 BH with your BX in trade? That seems like a decent price package..

Price was without trade my wife and I are actually considering keeping the bx and buying the new one it depends on how many thousands to fix kind of foolish owning two hoes though

The mower may not care, but in my experience they raise havoc with the results. I often find that a day after mowing I've got standing grass and weeds showing every tire track. How bad it is seems to depend on how dry the grass and weeds were when mowed, among other variables.

sell the 4' and get a 5' cutter

That's what I would do too...with a caveat:

Background...my cutter, a 60" Woods Bushbull, was bought used when I had my 4400 Deere. It was slightly wider than the width of the rear wheels and was only used a couple times to reclaim a field. After that, I used an RFM to maintain the parts of the field I kept clear (rest of the field left in woods and brush for the wildlife).
When I traded in my 4400 for a 4520 (rear wheel track is considerably wider), I kept, and still use the 60" Bushbull. I'm not going to go for a wider cutter since it's use is so limited and I'm not worried about the tractor being wider then the cutter. The only time I use the cutter now is to hit areas I neglect for more than a month or so.
So, if your cutter use is limited, as mine is, why spend the money?

Well I suspect your BX would fetch about $8K or so repaired with the 1900 hours, maybe a little more. As others have said, it may be a $3-4K repair, most of that labor. The dealer if you decide to trade it, will probably rebuild this on his staff spare time, and parts cost are probably not a lot.

Now if he gave you $5K for your BX or $20K out the door on the 3350 and BH, that would not be a bad deal, but if he offers you $2K I would have them repair and keep it or sell it yourself later on.
