All valves in series should have and use the PB port.

You can use that joystick valve as the T-N-T valve and one of the spools will have float.

For your grapple, use a diverter/selector valve. and the default will be the tilt.

Press the button and you now have grapple. The switch can be momentary or lock on for continuous grapple work.

ok, gotcha...so for a two spool there will be two return lines from the spool...and those can be tee'd together...

No there will only be one return (Tank) port on the valve body regardless of how many spools...but the return from the new valve can be teed into the existing return on the existing valve...

NO NO, the selector valve goes to the tilt hyd circuit, and here is the valve that most people use.

Your joystick valve will operate the lift , tilt, and grapple using the selector valve.


Surplus Center - 12 VDC 13.2 GPM SAE 8 DOUBLE SELECTOR VALVE

You remove the hoses that go to the tilt circuit and connect them to the IN port of the selector valve, and then connect the tilt cyl hose to circuit one, and the grapple to circuit two.

Default mode with no voltage is tilt.

J_J...ok got it now...thanks and thanks for the recommendation on the valve...

I know this will sound redundant but here goes...so from my existing remote I will utilized the PB to the input side of the joystick valve, from output of joystick valve I will go and tee into return, from joy stick tilt (high and low) to diverter P1 and P2, from diverter to C1/C2 for tilt, C3/C4 for grapple, then add power and switch of choice...? I think I've got it right...again, please excuse my ignorance !! Plus, go to hydraulic hose shop and have them make up correct hoses with appropriate terminal fittings...

just re-examined the diagram, it appears C1 and C4 are together and C2 is with C3...

Let me make sure You do have a loader now, correct.

You also have one remote and want to add a joystick valve for another remote?

If all that is true, then after adding the joystick in series with the one remote, you can use either joystick valve with the one selector/diverter valve.

The loader valve would be the easiest to run hoses.

Let me know if what I said is correct. I may have to advise otherwise.

I have one factory remote, and have a kit from Mahindra to add a second "factory" remote...just have not added it yet...

I want the ability to do hydraulic top and tilt and like the idea of T&T controlled by joystick...

took me a second...I understand you now...you're saying I can add the diverter valve to the factory joystick, putting the diverter up front by the factory loader valve, shorter and easier to route hoses...if I've got that right then for my add on T&T it would be in from PB, out to return, with appropriate T&T connections...also, the diverter would be different, correct ?

Rich, a couple of questions.
Are you going to be doing very much grading?
What type of terrain?
Are you going to do any rough cut mowing?
What type of terrain?

You may want to have the float function for both of the "TnT" cylinders. Depends on just what you will be doing and your conditions.

Something to think about.
