I place Kubota pretty high on the quality ladder in tractors.

I seem to remember they tried that back around 1945 or so and it didn't end well for them.

It kind of did end well for them. They became an Industrial Powerhouse with the most modern factories and powerfull currency. I always had to wonder why the Emperor was never held to account though for War Crimes. Always behind the scenes deals and stuff going on I guess.
