Would you buy your Kioti (or another) again?

Looks like this thread is still going.

I have 750 hours now with no problems to report. Used mostly for farm type work and running a snow blower.

I have a 2015 RX7320PC with 216 hours. I use it for very light farm work (tilling, post-hole digging, FEL use carrying firewood & snow removal). During a recent change of oil, the mechanic noticed that there was oil residue on both inner back wheel rims coming from the wheel hubs indicating a seal issue. The hydraulic oil was down just a bit and it was topped off. Although the oil leak is small right now, I am very concerned that the issue may get more serious and cause a major repair expense.

Why would both rear wheel hubs have this issue after only 216 hours? Design issue? Parts issue? Assembly issue?

I contacted the dealer I bought if from with no response.

Would I buy another Kioti? Maybe, but not from a dealer 1.5 hours away.

I've been thru Albany...nice part of the NEK. Is there anything less than 1.5 hr. away? :D

I thought there was a dealer on Rt. 5 between Orleans & Coventry or is this the one you had poor service from?

The Kioti dealer you are thinking of is NEFS on route 5. I bought from a dealer in Chittenden County, VT. I did email NEFS a couple of weeks ago. Either my email went to someone who has decided not to reply because I didn't buy from them or it got forwarded to someone for reply or... I'll follow up with them.

I re-sent my 10.25.2020 email to NEFS and got three people to reply within minutes.

Howdy,

I purchase my DK40se hst new in 2011, but picked it up in 2012 upon my return from overseas duty. I've got 460 hours on the machine and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I use the tractor to grade my 1000 foot lane road, dig drainage ditches along said road, till up the neighbors gardens and lawns, and more than anything else, the FEL with forks to move logs/firewood, mower decks and everything else I prefer to not do by hand. The loader is very strong and always amazed at how much it will lift.

With such a powerful loader, I'm concerned with front wheel bearing failure as noted by several other DK40se owners. To prevent bigger front axle repairs, I intend to slide new bearings into the machine at about 1000 hours.

The ignition switch is fussy once in a while, but a few squirts of WD40 or other cleaner fixes that quickly. The valve that operates the 4wd function was defective upon delivery, so was replaced under warranty along with a torn boot on a tie rod end. The dealer installed extra rear valves started seeping hydro oil, but I was able to tighten up the bolts and fixed that issue. Oh, at road speed, I have a persistent and annoying "shimmy" in the steering wheel and can be felt in the seat as well. That issue seems to be related to speed and comes and goes. I thought it might be the front axle pivot bearings, but after adjusting per the manual, no improvement.

I really like the features on the DK40se hst. Nice seat, tilt steering wheel, three point up/down lever behind the tractor, adjustable three point attaching points, electric 4wd selector and more. Would be impossible to replace this machine for a reasonable cost nowadays.

Would buy it again.

Thanks,
Mike

I've got a bit over 650 hrs on my 2016 NX5510. Hard to believe that I've had it for four years already. Other than stuff I've [stupidly] broken, the things that have been problematic are:

- Leaking rear diff cases (both resealed by dealer under warranty- about a year apart if I remember correctly);
- Broken return spring on the forward travel pedal- I replaced this and it's a horrible job!
- Joystick cable broke- this I also replaced
- Cabin fan power connector- appears that the factory pinched one of the wires- I replaced

Other than a water-in-fuel issue, which by all accounts can be attributed to a crappy locking fuel cap, the engine has run flawlessly. Paint isn't the greatest. Some other minor issues, but all in all it seems I'm past the teething issues and it's going to continue to operate reliably for quite some time. As more time goes by I feel better about the purchase.

Purchased in 2016

Tractor has 479 hours currently.
476 hours the front pinion gear and bearings went out. Locked up front end, just got back from dealer.
Sometime around 450 hours the tachometer jumped up to 1800 rpm, so the new zero is 1800 rpm.

Now, it won't stay running.

All and all, I'm happy with my Kioti and I would purchase again. The larger CK3510 most likely.
What sucks is the dealer I purchased from. In terms of customer service, they are a JOKE! All talk before and during the sale, was even lied to twice, only later found that out after purchase. Went to get parts from them twice, over charged and paid for shipping. Why and I paying for shipping on a oil filter? Called for parts a couple times, no return call, no real information other than they will look it up and call me back "Never to be called back".

Tractor great, dealer horrible. Now I will have to get a truck and trailer that can haul the tractor. I will drive the extra hour to a 5 paw dealer, that's what I get for using a Ma and Pa shop.

I own a 2014 DK45se that I have absolutely loved. It has over 1000 hours and has received the standard routine maintenance. I have visited endless abuse and punishment on it and it keeps on firing right up. The only thing that ever went wrong with it is it wouldn't start after sitting out in a downpour. They had to come and fix that electrical problem. No biggie. I like it so much that I bought another Kioti in 2019, a non-cab RX7320 power shift with a grapple. Hey, now I can pick up manure piles and put them where I want them! So far the only problem I've had with this one is hydraulic leaks in the lines that supply the grapple. Dealer's goofs, not the manufacturer's. All fixed now with no further leaks. Overall so far it's been a great tractor, almost as solidly built as the DK and immensely powerful. I feel that with Kioti you get a lot more bang for your buck than with Kubota, JD, or some other makes. The Koreans know how to build things intelligently and durably, just like the Japanese, although they sure could write better manuals (in English English, not Korean English). So yes, I not only would buy another Kioti, I already did.

Both tractors have the 4WD switch in a dumb location. Too easy to hit accidentally when the tractor is moving, apparently a no-no.

My impression is that the DK series is almost legendary. Every bit as good as the older small Kubotas.

The dealer is just up the road but needs to decide whether it is a tractor dealership or a general hardware store. So far I've had no real issues with them though, except once when I picked up the rx7320 after repairs to the grapple hydraulic lines, it was totally plastered with bird poop.
