Would you buy your Kioti (or another) again?

One problem with tier 4 is I don't have and probably never will have ulsd available, unless I want to charter a float plane to bring it in at 1$ a lb,

Rick, we're talking about standards and stuff that's on THIS planet!

That's an interesting note, and it goes to show that one cannot assume anything! (same as with the note by dfkrug- fuel tank placement! [fuel tank is down below cab on NX, not an issue for backhoe mounting, but another thing to be concerned about when tangling with brush- I have no such issues with my B7800])

Would I buy another Kioti? Sure! My CK30 is a 2006 and meets my needs. Just replaced a few easy to fix wear items after 1000 hours which was expected.... the most disappointment I️ had with it was an IP pump failure which was a known quality fault with 2006-2008 units.
My Neighbour has a Kubota and it is always breaking down.... he must have got a bad one as they are supposed to be solidly built.

just following this post - lots of good info here, and the Kioti dealer is within an hour's drive. I have no idea what the Tier 4 reference is though... something about emissions I gather.

Full Tier IV uses a fundamentally different type of fuel injection system. plus some other emissions tricks. Earlier models (right up through Interim IV) used a cam-driven mechanical injection pump that forced a metered amount of fuel into mechanical injectors that "popped" at a preset pressure. This mechanical system had been widely used for over 50 years. True Tier IV uses a single high pressure fuel pump to feed injectors that are fired electrically by a computer. In fact everything is run by a computer. The problems with Tier IV are (1) it's relatively new and (2) typical owners cannot troubleshooting and repair it like they could the old system.

How does the fuel tank mounted in the rear effect the backhoe? It seems like if it was a issue they wouldn’t sell a backhoe for it. Just wondering.

The issue is that the hoe has to be mounted even further aft in order for the hoe seat to
clear the tank. With the longer subframe, driving the tractor over the slightest depression
results in grounding the hoe. A seriously small "angle of departure".

Maybe with your backhoe...no issues if you get the Kioti hoe. The fuel tank is no further back than the drawbar or Rops, again not an issue. And if fuel is spilled I'd rather it land on the ground vs the hood. So yes, I would buy another Kioti

I am talking about the Kioti hoe, but the same issue applies to other hoes on the CK3510 or 4010
tractor. I am glad yours is working well for you.

Here are 2 pix, one of the 2475 hoe on a CK35H, and one of the 2475L hoe on the CK4010H. In the
latter case, the hoe is mounted at least 6" further aft, so the seat can clear the tank.

As for my own hoe with custom subframe, my hoe is at least 12" closer to the tractor. And I still
wish I had more departure angle.

The way the sun shines off hoe in the first pic. makes it look like a cool custom paint job .

I have a 2006 CK25 TLB with over 700 hours. Original owner. Backhoe is a Rhino 75. I can't decide if I'd buy Kioti again. It would probably depend on savings versus other brands because I have had several issues, in order of occurrence:

broken loader (warranty 2007)
Injection pump (warranty 2008)
bent tie-rod (2009) - replacement was heavier duty and it was my doing that bent it.
Broken rear remote detent (2015 still broken) and my tractor doesn't match the parts diagram
cracked fuel bowl (2017) - known design flaw since about 2008
head gasket (2017) - expensive repair

All-in-all I saved somewhere around $4-$6K compared JD, Kubota, or MF. My out of pocket for repairs is now still less than $2000. So, I consider myself still ahead of the game. It's the down time that I don't like. I want reliable machines that work when I need them to. If money were no object I'd probably get a MF or JD. The JD 2038 is pretty sweet.
