Really lousy dealer support. I wonder if Kubota would be worth the extra $$
for this reason?

If strong dealer support near you is important, then you may be limited to Kubota or Deere. I am not sure
about Case/NewHolland/Fiat. You will pay more for that, but it may be worth it.

If a long-term successful Kioti dealer is nearby, that's a bonus that most folks will not have. I personally
would buy another Kioti if it met my needs. I have now purchased 3 new Kiotis, one new Bobcat CT, and
one used Bobcat CT.

Sadly, I pushed my local rental yard to buy Bobcat CT335 tractors back in '09, cuz the deal was good,
and they provided the necessary local support. Then Bobcat dumped DaeDong. So now, the rental
yard has replaced all the Bobcats with Standard L Kubotas, which have local support.

A few things I forgot to mention...

On first-time delivery, the loader pivot bolts were never greased. Me being a newbee (and a bit naive then) discovered that when one of the bolts simply fell out. I was under the impression that they were internally greased.

Also the sunroof was incorrectly fitted.

On asking the guy who delivered the machine what certain controls are for (below the seat) he wasn't sure.

That was about 10 years ago but demonstrates the dealer also didn't have a clue.

The second time the front 4WD gears disintegrated, the service people who did the first repair insisted on payment of $500 to bring it into their workshop (50km from here), before anything else. Way overpriced, sounded like they didn't want to see the tractor again.

Yes i would. Have 400 hours on mine. Works like new. Never had an issue getting parts here.

There are no CUT (under 50HP) Tractors made in the USA,, period. Not Sure Deere ever had a CUT made in the USA?? (In the last 25 years)
There are a few that claim "assembled" in the USA, if you consider pulling the complete tractor out of the shipping container and bolting the wheels on "Assembling" ,,, Than I guess that is "True"

Yanmar and JD parted ways years ago,, last time I was in a Deere dealer all the castings (Axles, rear, etc) had "Made in China" on them.

Are the smaller compact utility John Deere units made in the USA still, or are they also imported from Japan or South Korea?

I would buy another CKK20. They are great little tractors......BUT.......I haven't needed anything from a dealer either and that is VERY good since the nearest is over 200 miles away.

From my personal experience with our kubota m9000 m108 and m7001are hard to beat. My 05 m9000 is just a tick past 30,000 hours and in need of a overhaul but still runs strong. Only issues we have ever had were standard stuff/regular wear or operator error and the only reoccuring issue is a fuel silenoid every 2 years . M7001 is at 10000 hours and like new the M108 is the least used at 500 hours and we just finished ripping the plastic the rest of the way off the seat. All are 4x4 with loaders and are very used and well maintained

I have to suspect whether this was due to Yanmar's issues with meeting emissions standards? I have a Yanmar engine in my 2013 Polaris Brutus and in 2014, I think it was, Polaris dumped Yanmar and went with Kholer (sp? yeah, they do diesels). My Yanmar is noisier than heck, and the rear main leaks (thank goodness I've got an HST!), but otherwise it seems pretty much bulletproof.

I still like Kubota engines above all others (for other than the BIG stuff). My B7800's and my generator's engines, both Kubota, will run until the end of time. Sadly, newer engines all saddled with tighter emissions stuff isn't likely going to be able to match in longevity: I'm just hoping that my Kioti will last me long enough!

I only have 229 hrs on my Kioti, so my data won't really count given the data selection requirements given by the OP. Other than fit and finish being a step under Kubota, and leaking rear axle casing (fixed under warranty) my Kioti has stood up to some pretty hard work w/o complaint. I won't be buying another tractor, so whether I'd buy a Kioti or not is moot.

+1 on the fit and finish, I'd even expand that to placement of controls, levers, etc. But that's pebble-in-the-shoe stuff. I've got a bit over 950 hr on my LK3054, and it's been solid. Other than general maintenance and replacing the seals in the FEL cylinders I've done nothing to mine.
Local dealer is only 15 mi away, and while his service shop has a good reputation I have not needed to use it.

Likewise, I don't see myself replacing it...this tractor does everything I need. Hope it lasts as long as I do.

Agreed! All brands succumb to “standard/regular wear”, “operator error” or minor “recurring issues”.
With this in mind, I figure that Kioti is overall a very reliable tractor brand although a few model years have potential to develop some “known issues”.... e.g. a few CK model years had weak injector pumps.
I’d buy Kioti again as my preferred brand actually... but like the OP, I’d do my research before I bought any piece of equipment and make sure I have access to capable, honest dealer support.
It would be great if there was an objective site/list of known issues by tractor brand:model/year but I haven’t been able to find a site with one.
