Would you buy your Kioti (or another) again?

I love my Kioti but it is the dealer that I hate. PR stinks and show no care to their customers. I would buy a John Deere next which was my first option but because the dealer is far away I opt to Kioti which is only 1 hour away but very hard to get them to come for service etc. So I would been better off with the JD.

Up date after ranting about my Kioti dealer they called and made a time date to come up and service my CK the next day. Wonder if they read it here on TBN.

It's been along time not posting to this thread but here it goes: I have a Kioti CK4010SE with factory cab, with 520 hours now. So far it has been an extremely reliable tractor. Past work includes: installed 3 culverts, gravel road maintenance on 1,600 feet of road, mowing nearly 9 acres of field on monthly schedule, installed 800 feet of fencing. Cleared a 525' electric power corridor for new electric service, cleared a 930' water line corridor for new water line, chipped about 52 hours of tree limbs, grinding over 78 stumps for removal below ground.

Overall, been very happy with by Kioti tractor. Extremely reliable. No problems so far with Tier4 emmissions.

Update on my service, now that there are more people buying Kiotis ( 5 this year) in my area it will make it easier
for service calls as we can split the expense on traveling etc.

1300 hours on my DK 45 which I've owned since 2006. Injector pump went bad at 1000 hrs. Otherwise no problems and its been used hard for just about anything considered farming.

I have a similar tractor with about the same hours. I was wondering if there were any warning signs regarding the injector pump? I noticed winter before last and this past one that I get some white smoke at startup when cold. This summer I am getting a small puff at start up. When the tractor is warm I don't see any smoke. I would appreciate any information you might have on that. IMO it seems to be flooding as it runs rough when cold along with the white smoke. The tractor is not plugged in and it always starts.

Traded off LK3054 with 1875 hours - still waxed unit yearly it was 1995 model. It had typical electrical issues starter switch along with fuse corrosion. Had to add screens to the hood to stop particles from plugging up radiator. It would overheat field mowing prior to adding screen to the inside louvre cut areas on hood panel. Calcium chloride ate up rear wheels at valve stem areas. Replaced rear rims before trade. Had to replace water pump at 1000 hours. This Is something inherent in kioti you have to watch is the water pump when they quit they tend to take the motor with them. It does not take long for these CUTs to heat up their radiators are small heat builds up quickly under load. Good tractor robust. If bought again I would have put dielectric grease in all plug connections they were not waterproof in 1995. Corrosion is problem over time. I believe The 2610 uses the same motor as the LK it痴 just de tuned on injector pump, from my understanding.

Yes, htis 2006 Kioti CK30HST and FEL/BH addons with 1200hrs has been a trooper for a 30HP machine. Cleared ~2000' of 7ft-wide trails by pushing over the shallow-rooted alder trees, dug out many stumps, levelled the 800' long lane and 250' long drive and re-gravelled twice, trenched a sidewalk, hauled rocks and logs (it's a great wheelbarrow), and etc., you know how handy a little tractor is.

Only had to contact the dealer twice, once for a new dash assembly when the gauges went goofy, and again for a new backhoe piston. He mailed them to me no questions asked at his cost. That was nice for a dealer 400miles away.

I'd stick with Kioti brand because of lower cost than others when i looked, with similar grades and quality of steel construction and hydraulics.

The only thing i would change is getting more horsepower now that i can afford it.

Yes, I also have a 2006 CK30 HST with close to 500 hours. I do need a bigger tractor in the future and would certainly reconsider a larger Kioti. I try to do too much with the one I have and it has stood up to the punishment so far. No injector pump problems yet. Just a split oil cooler a while back. Never uses oil. Just a darn good little machine.

Yes, but...

I saw a Massey 4707 cab model today that is about comparable in size to my Kioti RX7320 that had a 'buddy seat'. I like the RX cab layout better (the Massey is hard to exit the right side), but honestly if I had seen that Massey two months ago I would have paid the few thousand more just so my two younger kids could ride along easier than they do in the RX. That Massey cab goes into higher HP.

You really cannot go wrong with modern tractors, but you can do 'right' the way you want. I spent a few minutes tonight figuring out how to fit a buddy chair into the RX. My 9-year old son is worth more than the spec sheet. Had I seen a buddy seat in something the class of the RX I would have jumped on it.

That said, we like our RX quite well. We are happy people and don't grouse much. Like I said, I think it is hard to go wrong these days.

Edid sheesh: mine is a 2007 ck30hst with KL130b fel with the torque tube welded thru the arms, and 400hrs on it all. My brains was thinking about the boat motor.

And meant to mention that in 4WD locked, it has been a traction-crawling little beast in the woods.
