The kit sans the engine and avionics is about 20k now. It is CNC predrilled so it should speed the building time. I am in process building a shop. The building is up. I just need to buy few machines such as lathe, milling machine, CNC plasma cutter etc.

My how times have changed, in 2003-4 nothing was pre-drilled or CNCed! So, you are going to be pretty close on your price then. BTW, the 701 has 9,500 rivets, I drilled probably 14,000 holes in all counting drilling out rivets and replacing them. Took me the better part of 2 years from start to finish. If you can take the course at Zenith, it's fun and it helps.
