Cell phone towers do not pose a health risk. They might be an eyesore and cause your property value to drop, but they wont grow a third eye on the back of your shoulder. If the tower shares the same service as your cellular provider, you'll be ensured wonderful reception while you are at home. That could be a big benefit.
If people want to use their cell phones, they are going to have to put towers somewhere. The disguised towers are a great idea, but they do cost more and those cost will ultimately be passed on to consumers. Even with that caveat, I do think a disguised tower is the way to go in residential areas.
