BIg is nice, but you need small also. If this was my only tractor it would not work for everything I need to do. Since my brother in law live a couple hundred yards from me, we help each other with just about all tasks. He has a JD 750 with a PHD and 4 foot shredder, a T2030 NH with FEL and 6 foot shredder and I have the Yanmar 4220 with FEL and then the new LS 7010 plus a couple of yard mowers each so we can usually find a tractor that has what we need already on it. We could use a backhoe occassionally but never needed it enough to justify buying one for any of our tractors. Mostly we just mow and dig with them, disc up small garden spots and generally sit around and think up new projects that we can use the tractors for. I remember one project where I was going to make a ramp for the creek crossing. I messed around with my FEL for an hour or more and finally got a little bit of ramp made to cross it with the small tractors, however when I tried to cross with the LS it is much longer than the compacts and was half way out of the ramp on the other side before the back half was finished ramping down and hung up my rake. 5 minutes with the FEL on that creek bank lengthened that ramp and reduced the slope so I could easily cross. Another 5 minutes on the other side made a nice long ramp that was sure easy to cross with that big rock in my avatar plus a bunch more that we both hauled across the creek. That little ramp turned a 30 minute trip into 5 minutes as we were really going slow with those big rocks.
