Sorry to disappoint you but i wasnt standing under the fel while it was in the air. PEOPLE LIKE YOU REALLY GET ON MY NERVES.

I'm not sure why anyone that is concerned for your personal well-being would get on your nerves.

I'm not saying that's the case here, but a lot of times, I believe, it's because we don't like to be reminded of that sick, sinking feeling we get in the pit of our stomachs when we realize we just got away with doing something really, really stupid. Been there, done that, and would rather not do it again.

They get on my nerves because instead of adding helpful info they try to point out things people have done wrong. I wasnt under the fel when i took the pic i was on the side of the tractor. Every forum i am a member of has people like this
they try to make sure everyone knows how they did something wrong. These are the same people that wont stop to help you when you are in need. They know everything about anything but cant do a dang thing! If people cant contribute to a thread with helpful info please just dont post. If you need a place to post about safety there is a whole section on this site just for you so please use it!

#1: I said it "LOOKED AS IF"
#2: This board is here to teach others of our mistakes. If you wish, I will post that pic in the safety forum and say that one should not stand close to or under loader arms when they are raised unless they are blocked.

I like that FEL work platform.
The only advice I have is to make sure she sticks around to let you down!

wickedinhere,

Like you I am sick & tired of - "I am your mother, and must look out for you. You are too dumb to know these things. I must point them out to you before you get hurt."

BTW - Nice valve install, your going to really like it when your project is done. Well another fine thread shot to He77.

Yep, just when we get a good subject going it goes South..... At first glance I thought he might be standing under the FEL as well. But before jumping to conclusions, I applied logic. My answer was a telephoto lens. Standing out in front of the tractor, zooming in. I know how wicked feels, I have one poster on this site that criticizes everything I post. I actually feel sorry for people like that. They miss the positive point of these threads.

I'm anxiously awaiting the grapple install and finished pictures since I'm wanting to do this very project when I get home. Sure hope Wicked doesn't stand under the bucket again and cause this thread to go astray!!! :)

Would anyone care to share how much their valve kit cost from WR Long? I was just quoted $3400 plus shipping for the valve kit and a 66” 4in1 bucket from Long. That was 7 or 8 hundred more than I expected. Unfortunately I did not get a separate quote for just the valve kit.
